Hi! My name is Leslie Shimasaki and I began creating digital art at age 52!
It 's a fabulous way to stay sharp and creative and you can do it anywhere you are!
I began learning to make art on my iPad during the pandemic and I got hooked. I learned through scrolling Youtube and bouncing from teacher to teacher. It wasn't the best way and I was frustrated. Though most teachers are wonderful, the classes were fast and didn't get super detailed about the very basics of learning to create digital art for an older newbie. So I decided to cater to this special artist and create relaxed, easy-paced lessons to take you from complete beginner, to a confident creator.
